Avatar (Motion Capture)



I created an immersive project using Unreal Engine and motion capture data to animate the avatar's movements, with the goal of engaging and involving the audience more fully in the experience.

I used materials and visual effects in Unreal Engine to make the avatar aesthetically appealing, with the intention of generating interest and interaction from audiences.

OptiTrack (Brooklyn Navy Yard) + MotionBuilder + Unreal Engine/Blueprints + UE Niagara System

I combine the 3D avatar with the skeletal data exported from Motive in MotionBuilder. 

I applied a variety of materials and meshes to the avatar to explore how they would be visually represented and interact within the virtual world.
